Most photographers send a generic prep email and hope for the best. These two tools give you real insight into who she is, what she is nervous about, and what she needs from you before her session even starts.

Pre-Session Questionnaire

A form that collects everything you need to know before her session... her goals, her insecurities, her outfit ideas, her session type, and more. Automatically delivered and tracked inside GHL with a 4-reminder follow-up sequence so nothing slips through.

The Body Love Workbook

A guided pre-session workbook that helps your client reconnect with herself before she arrives. It shifts her mindset from nervous to ready... and gives you insight into how to photograph her in a way that truly resonates.

How To Import It

Step by step... exactly what to do.

  1. I.

    Click The Get The Free Snapshot Button Above

    That link takes you directly to the GHL snapshot share page. You will need to be logged in to your GHL account for the import to work. If you are not logged in, GHL will prompt you to sign in first.

  2. II.

    Click "Load Snapshot Into Sub-Account"

    Once you are on the snapshot page you will see a button that says something like Load Snapshot Into Sub-Account or Import Snapshot. Click it. GHL will ask you which sub-account to import it into. Select your studio account from the dropdown.

  3. III.

    Choose What To Import

    GHL will show you a list of everything inside the snapshot. You can import all of it or select specific pieces. For this snapshot, import everything — the workflows, the forms, and the templates all work together and need each other to function correctly.

  4. IV.

    Confirm The Import

    Click Import or Confirm. GHL will process the snapshot and add everything to your account. This usually takes less than a minute. When it is done you will see a success message.

  5. V.

    Find Your New Workflows In Automation

    Go to Automation → Workflows and you will see the Pre-Session Questionnaire workflow and any supporting workflows from the snapshot listed there. They will be in Draft mode by default. Do not publish yet... review them first and connect your specific trigger before going live.

  6. VI.

    Connect It To Your Existing Workflow

    The Pre-Session Questionnaire reminder workflow is designed to be triggered by another workflow... specifically your session prep or contract signed workflow. Inside that workflow, add an Add To Workflow action at the right point in the sequence and select the PSSQ reminder workflow. This starts the reminder sequence automatically without you doing anything manually.

  7. VII.

    Build The Stop Reminders Workflow

    Once she submits the questionnaire form you want GHL to automatically stop the reminder sequence. This is a simple two-step workflow: Trigger: Form Submitted (select the PSSQ form) → Remove From Workflow (select the PSSQ reminder workflow). Publish this one and the moment she submits the form GHL pulls her out of the reminder sequence automatically. No more reminders after she is done.

  8. VIII.

    Publish Both Workflows And Test

    Once everything is connected, add yourself as a test contact and manually enroll yourself in the PSSQ reminder workflow. Confirm the first email fires. Then submit the test form and confirm the Remove From Workflow action pulls you out and stops the sequence. When both work correctly, you are live.

⚠ Before You Publish — Read This First

This snapshot was built in my studio. You need to make it yours.

The forms, emails, and documents inside this snapshot were originally built for Moonlight and Lace Boudoir. Before you publish anything, go through every piece and replace my studio details with your own.

How To Use This Template

Paste it into GHL in three steps.

  1. I.

    Copy The Email Above

    Click the Copy This Email button above to copy the full email body to your clipboard. Then go to Automation → Workflows → your Inquiry Form Welcome workflow. Click on the Send Email action.

  2. II.

    Paste And Customize

    Paste the email into the body field of the Send Email action. Replace everything in [BRACKETS] with your real studio details. Leave the merge tags like {{contact.first_name}} exactly as they are... GHL fills those in automatically from her contact record.

  3. III.

    Save And Test

    Click Save Action. Then test the workflow with your own email address to confirm the email arrives, looks correct, and sounds like you. Once you are happy with it you are done. This email fires automatically for every new inquiry from this day forward.
